At last Mulhuddart can celebrate its brand new fully equipped and spacious Community Centre. The Centre is located at the round - a - bout beside Saint Luke The Evangelist church on Church Road - just up the hill from the Shanty public house.

The range of activities at M.C.C. is already extensive and varied, while the management uphold a keen interest in new ideas and initiatives from members of the public, and encourages people to contact the centre. Activities, so far, include: Breakfast Club for school children , Men in Blanchardstown group, Irish Dancing, Futsal (football training for 10 - 18 yrs.), Drama, keep fit / Aerobics, Mulhuddart Community Band, Junior Sports Initiative, Sho-To-Kan, Littlespace Football Club, Teen Insight and Art. The Mulhuddart Community Centre is the choice of several organisations as a venue for training schemes.

Four full-time Youth Officers head up a sub-group within the Centre, and co-ordinate a range of activities for the youth of the area.

Since August 2003 a state of the art Kitchen facility is in operation in the Centre which provides homemade food, cooked breakfasts and lunches plus a takeaway service through the, warm and friendly, Coffee Shop which is open to all, 9am to 3:30pm five days a week. In addition the Kitchen can provide food, of a very high standard and at an extremely competitive price, for in-house and outside occasions on request from any groups and businesses.

A professionally staffed Pre-School is in operation
