These would include club and golf ball design and manufacture,  garments used for golf, the agronomy used on the course and the club house. These are generally of the highest quality. The concept behind this publication is to offer a system that will bring a major component of golf, namely the measurement involved in the game, to the same high quality. For that reason the procedures suggested are of a general nature and could be used to measure any item to the level of certification but for this publication the emphasis is on golf.
