Phoenix-Tara Toastmasters is a new public speaking club open to all adults. Members are welcome from all areas. The majority of our club's members are from Dublin 15, from Co Meath and from surrounding counties. Our club is a mixture of new and experienced members. To date this year we have had 7 new members make their first project speeches. New members are also participating in table topics and various club roles and some have been elected to the 7 member Phoenix-Tara Toastmasters council. New members are being assisted and coached by more experienced Toastmasters, in a friendly atmosphere.
When we meet:
Meetings are held on the 2nd and 4th Mondays of every month (excluding July and August) in Dunboyne Castle Hotel, Dunboyne, Co Meath. The majority of the clubs members are from Co Meath, Dublin 15 and surrounding counties. However there is no geographic limit to club membership and all are welcome.
We socialise from 7.45pm and take about 15 minutes to welcome visitors and for final organisation of topics, speeches, and other duties, and then begin the main programme promptly at 8.00 pm, finishing at 10.15pm.
The following is the planned schedule for the year. Extra training nights and other social functions will be added throught the year.

Our Toastmaster District includes all of Ireland and Britain
The District Conference representing about 177 Toastmaster clubs is held in May and November on alternate years in Ireland or Britain. These are social, educational and training weekends.
